    Your firm in five minutesSize, practice areas, locations, current SEO position, what’s prompted you to look at this now. Nothing exhaustive — just enough for me to understand the shape of the firm.

    Your goals and constraintsWhat does a great twelve months look like for your firm? What does success measure as? What’s the budget envelope? What’s the appetite for change in the team?

    An honest fit assessmentI’ll tell you whether what you’re describing is something I can help with, and roughly what shape the engagement would take. If it’s not a fit, I’ll tell you so.

    Next steps if there’s a fitUsually one of three options: the SRA-Compliant AI Visibility Audit, a monthly retainer, or a quarterly senior-advisory engagement. I’ll send a written follow-up with the recommended shape and indicative fee.
No follow-up sales sequence. If we’re not a fit, you don’t hear from me again. No drip campaign. No “checking in” emails. I assume you’ll get in touch if you change your mind.

TimeHow long is the call really?

30 minutes. Sometimes 35 if there’s a lot to cover. I respect your time and assume you respect mine. If we need longer, we’ll book a follow-up.

CostIs the call free?

Yes. The intro call is free. The audit and the retainer are paid engagements, but the intro call is no-obligation and no fee.

Who attendsWho from our firm should join the call?

Whoever owns the decision and the budget. Usually the managing partner, marketing partner, or practice manager. If you need a second partner involved later, we can book a follow-up. For a first call, one decision-maker is normally enough.

PrepWhat should I prepare?

Nothing formal. Be ready to talk about your firm’s size, practice areas, locations, and what’s prompted you to look at SEO and AI visibility now. If you already have specific goals or competitors in mind, bring them. If not, that’s fine too.

WhereIs the call in person or video?

Video, via Google Meet by default. If you’d rather a phone call, just say so when booking. In-person meetings are possible across the North West, but most first conversations work better on video.

AfterWhat happens after the call?

Within 48 hours I’ll send a written follow-up with my view of the shape of an engagement (or an honest “this isn’t a fit, here’s why”). If we’re moving forward, the follow-up includes an indicative fee, recommended starting point and proposed timeline. No surprises.
